The Fishing:

Let us be your personal guides for a once in a lifetime fishing experience. Sund’s Lodge is located in a prime location on the northern part of the Inside Passage of Vancouver Island where Pacific salmon are abundant. We fish for all 5 species of salmon, all within minutes of the dock. The calm, protected waters of Blackfish Sound offer one of the most abundant fishing areas on the British Columbia coast. After battling a Chinook salmon in the 20-40 pound class, we can limit out on 12-16 pound Coho or beautifully fighting Chum, Sockeye, and Pink Salmon.

All of your fish processing and packaging are included in your price so you’ll be sure to have a box of fish to take home to your family and friends.

The Lodge:

The intimate 40 acre setting on Malcolm Island in Northern British Columbia is perfect for getting away with family, friends or business associates. A maximum of 24 guests means a pampering of personal service that cannot be matched by large resorts. Your stay is customized to your wishes. Fish to your heart's content, explore in a sea kayak, bike into town, or nap in a hammock. Experience warmth, attention and service that will make you feel both at home and transported to a magical place.

Amenities include two hot tubs, sauna, bicycles and sea kayaks, golf practice range and hiking paths, satellite TV and pool table and wireless internet through the entire property.
Your Cabin

While at Sund’s Lodge, guests stay in one of our 12 guest rooms, which are either original Cedar cabins built with wood harvested from our local woods, or small log cabins built with Vancouver Island Douglas Fir trees. All of our cabins are furnished to feel like a home away from home. Most rooms have 2 beds in each room and all have private bath. Comfortable beds are adorned with down comforters and 600 thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. All of our cabins and rooms have gorgeous views of Blackfish Sound.
