Orlando's Quick Tips
*What you need for bonefish and permit:
8 weight fly rod
Floating fly line
Leaders between 8 and 12 pounds or your own tied leaders
Crazy Charlies, Bonfish Specials, Bonfish Gotchas, Small Clouser deep minnow and other kinds like Coco Loco’s and Small Crabs. Try to have flies with different colors (pink, orange, tan and white). Hook sizes for the flies should be number 8 and 10.
Plus any other equipment you consider necessary.
* For tarpon:
12 weight fly rod.
TYPE # 5 or # 6 (the fly line).
Proper flies for tarpon with different colors (violet, black, black and red) and preferably Owner Hooks number 02/0.
Plus any other equipment you consider necessary.
